Using a limited palette (like the 3 colours we’ve selected for each of our colourways) gives you the freedom to mix your paints without fear of picking a colour that clashes or doesn’t create the ambience you intended.
It’s incredible what a broad kaleidoscopic range of colours you can create from the right 3 watercolour paints. But whatever combination of paints you use to mix a hue- it is guaranteed to align harmoniously with all over colours mixed with your chosen palette. You actually can’t make an unharmonious colour if you create it with your limited palette. The effect that this harmony of colours conveys is a sense of cohesion and intentionality that is carried across sketches and paintings alike.
